2013 Easter Egg Hunt

This year we decided to go to Chambers Easter Egg Hunt. We saw a lot of friends there and it was a great time for the kids and the adults. ;) Sydney and Trace played in the park before the big hunt. Those two were everywhere but thank goodness they stayed together. Sydney was a very good egg finder at the Easter Egg Hunt. Trace just walked around, I think he was just happy being outside and able to run. So after Sydney got her 10 eggs she helped Trace fill his basket.
After the hunt, they gave out the prizes for the "special eggs", the coloring contest, and the drawing. When they got to the coloring contest winners, they started with the preschool (3-5 year olds) winners. The kids and I were sitting in the sand eating some candy from there eggs when we heard someone say "Sydney Barlow". She won the coloring contest for her age group! I was so proud of her and she was so happy they called her name. She didn't know she won, she was just happy to get her coloring picture back. Earlier this week we stopped at the Chambers gas station to get a Easter picture to color for the contest. Friday evening we took the colored picture back and Sydney wasn't to happy about giving them her picture until they let her tape it up on the wall with all the other Easter pictures. Sydney ended up winning $5 from the coloring contest, she says now she can go to the gas station and buy candy! :)
