Ewing Fun Fest

My mom was here over the weekend and spent some time with Sydney while I was at work. Unfortunately something happened on Saturday and we have no water. Something is wrong with the well and we have to wait for the holiday to be over so we can get someone out here to fix it. Living without water for going on 3 days sucks! I just HOPE that they are here early tomorrow and get it fixed right away!!
The Ewing Fun Fest was a fun day....besides the weather. I had to work and my mom went home early Sunday morning...Heath was in charge of watching Sydney. He did a pretty good job AND he changed 2 diapers!! Of course they were pee diapers but this is a milestone because this would be the first diaper Heath has EVER touched! I just hope that this wasn't a one time deal. :) Anyway, I got off work and met Heath and Sydney in Ewing. We loaded up and went out to the golf course for the ping pong drop. The ping pong drop is just a bunch of kids standing on the golf course as a plane flies over and dumps a bunch of ping pongs out of the plane. Sydney did very well, she got 13 ping pongs...and you get $0.10 for each ball! She was excited. :)

After the ping pong drop we went back to Ewing for the BBQ. After supper it was time for Cruise Night. Heath, Ryan Cleveland, and Jerome Dougherty were in the pickup together with ALL 5 kids! :) Yep ALL OF THEM!! While us ladies, April Barlow, Wanda Dougherty, and myself cruised kid free. We met back at April's house afterwards and hung out with the kids. The men headed over to the dance while us ladies stayed with the kiddos...which was fine with me because I really didn't want to go and hang out at the dance while pregnant.

The kids played so hard that they passed out around 10:30pm. After the dance we left and headed home. Sydney had a great day hanging with daddy and then playing all evening!!
