Friday night, Heath and Jeremy had a rodeo in O'Neill which they won! So excited to be able to watch them rope but even better to watch them take first place.
Saturday, Heath loaded up the trailer to head to Fremont to the rodeo. He planned on staying the night at my parents house because the Sunday rodeo is in Walt Hill which is in Eastern Nebraska.
My Uncle Bob is staying at my parents house helping with chores since my parents are on there way to Washington DC for a week! I'm super happy that my dad will finally be able to visit the Vietnam wall.
So when Heath and Jeremy got to my parents house they set up camp for the night. My brother (being the farmer that he is and hasn't been around many rodeos at all) sent me this picture and thinks that Heath will have the neighbors talking about how redneck we are. :) Well in that country this would look a little redneck, but up here this is normal.
Heath and Jeremy have a fan club this weekend. My Uncle Bob went to Fremont Rodeo to watch them and he is planning on going to the Walt Hill rodeo as well tonight. I suppose he doesn't get a chance to see many rodeos in Minnesota. :) But Heath and Jeremy said that they enjoyed visiting with Uncle Bob while they were staying at my parents house. He's such a nice man!
Back here at home, Grandma and Grandpa Barlow came over today to build a screen door for the chicken shed which we desperately needed. Gary did a great job and this new door should keep out all the animals, including Charlie!
