Beets

I gladly picked up a small box of beets from Lambert Melons in Oneill to can. Of course I'm not a canning expert so I had one if the best canners help me....my mother. :) Yep, the kids and I made yet another trip to Fremont to can beets on Friday night. It was a crazy night, my parents are remodeling so we had to stay in the finished basement while they worked upstairs. Then my brother and sister in law needed to fix fence so Baby Jayden came to visit, all the while we are canning beets. :) My sister came out to watch the kids for us.

The girls...Trace wanted to hold Baby Jayden and he was obsessed with touching her face and saying, "nice baby". 

Heath had a busy rodeo weekend again. He left Thursday night and got hone late Friday night. Saturday night he had a rodeo in Arlington which is right next to Fremont. So Grandma and Grandpa came with us to watch him. They got 4th place for that rodeo. Heath is doing really well this year, so happy for him!! Knock on wood...don't want to jinx it.

And of course now we can't leave a rodeo without going on a couple rides at the carnival. Best buddies, Brenna and Sydney.
